Steve Croft says the industry is 10 Billion a year. Paul Fishbein of AVN walked around the Adult Entertainment Expo with Steve Croft. Many adult stars were seen in the background. Teri Weigel & Jenna Jameson & Sunset Thomas were highlited. Paul Fishbein was interviewed and said the there were 800 million tape & DVD rentals last year. They discussed VCA and Vivid. Jenna Jameson was interviewed and said that her movies were the same as regular movies except, 'They go one step further'. 12,000 people are employed in Southern California in the porn industry. Bill Lyon of the Free Speech Coalition was interviewed and was very impressive. He talked about the adult industry lobby. Steve Croft talked about the major companies that are involved in the distribution of adult material. One guy said that 50% of the hotel guests use pay per view for adult material. 'Our guests demand it'. They discussed a guy name John Malone and the fact that adult is the major factor of profits. They discussed the majority of the companies are in Chatsworth, CA and they interviewed Bill Asher of Vivid. People want good sex with good plots. Technology has changed the world with the VCR leading the way. 20 years ago people wanted to see 'Deep Throat' in the privacy of their homes. Google search for 'sex' got 180 million hits. Computer is in 70-80 million households. Luke Ford was interviewed and he was a complete embarassment. He said, 'All people over 37 think porn is shameful'. Others in background included David Aaron Clark, Jim South & Talon. (And a mature actress). Legal discussion included the Attorney General putting drapes yo cover Lady Justice's breasts, Mary Beth Buchanon from Pittsburg & the Extreme Associates obscenity case. Rob Black was interviewed and discussed his case, 'Forced Entry' movie and what is a 'community'. Rob did a very good job and made some very interesting points.
