Visited New York City on May 2nd, 1998.

Quite a differance since my last visit prior to last fall's East Coast      
    Video Show in October:                                                  
      * At least 7 of the peepstores no longer handles the animal films.    
      * Major construction at Times Square.                                 
      * The two major peeplands were basically the same.                    
      * Lots of real old videos that were advertised as new.                
      * The Euro selections were down quite abit.                           
      * Ed Powers tapes on the Euro booths?                                 
      * Some stores were 1/2 their previous size.                           
The same old ripoffs:                                                       
      * Selling copied tapes.                                               
      * Selling tapes with No Boxcovers. (You get a copy of the tape).      
      * Advertising old stuff as new.                                       
The good points:                                                            
      * Still get to see Euro stuff that you can't see at other places.     
      * Very clean booths.                                                  
      * No problems with disorderly people or hustlers.

Conclusion..........Wonder what it will be like for this years ECVS?
