CAVR has been hosted on one site since October, 1996
On Friday 05/18/2007 it started having server problems
after 2-3 weeks on very slow response and more than
normal downtime. My daily calls to them got mixed
results, but the same problem continued.
On Monday 05/21/2007 they informed me that the server
was dying and they could offer me space on their new
server, but I would have to move the site's contents
to the new server.
Because of my low technical skills and the large
number of files (25,000+), I cried uncle.
Jeff of IAFD.com came to my rescue and transferred
CAVR files to his server.
Jeff, thank you for the time consuming work and
putting up with me. I am sorry for being such a
pain.
Email should now be back up. I am not sure if I 'lost' any
emails in the conversion or not. If you are waiting
for a response from me, please re-send the email.
Problems should be reported to me and I will check them out
and hopefully fix them. This was a major effort on
Jeff's part and Jeff gets all the kudos!
