Well, finally 4 months after purchasing my HD DVD Player I finally
got an adult HD DVD. To prepare for this day (and to enjoy
the HD experience) I have purchased 31 regular releases HD DVD's.

This started when I bought the HD DVD Player specifically to
play the HD DVD version of Pirates and Island Fever 3. Turns
out that they are not HD DVD and I was left hanging.

So, I was really excited when UPS delivered Camp Cuddly Pines
      on HD DVD.

You can image how crushed I was when the HD DVD did not play
in my 4 month old machine. Included with the packaging was a
note that 'Might requite HD DVD Player firmware update.'

What is firmware? I don't know, but I was about to find out!

I called Wicked and talked to Heth and she was very nice to
me and directed me to Jackie who explained that I needed to
update the software in my HD DVD Player and told me how to
      do it. Two possible answers:
        1> Ethernet connection
2> Download new version, write to CD & then do update using CD.
Skip step one and go to step two.

Now for the really fun stuff.
I was scared to death to do this so, I emailed the only other
guy I know who has HD DVD.

Bill is a moderator for Adult DVD Talk and he is the guy who
made the suggestion for the new way I rate DVD and DVD extras.

Bill searched the internet and found a web site that had the
new version I needed. (Manufacturer does not have on it's
web site). Bill sent me detailed instructions on step-by-step
what to do. And, he promised to call me if I got in trouble.

So, after one very sleepless night and 5:00am back at it, I
followed Bill's email and it was a piece of cake and it
      worked!

      Thank You Heth.
      Thank You Jackie.
      Thank You Bill.
