Den's Las Vegas fun! 01/07/2006

Wednesday
2:00 Arrived and tried to register. I could not be found in the
computer data base. Without a moment's delay, they put me in
as Press and gave me a Press Kit.
2:30 Went to the convention floor and was surprised how few
booths were even close to being assembled. Saw John Knowles
and shared talk with him (and the use of his sofa). After many
panic calls, John was assured his plasma TVs would be delivered
in the morning.
4:30 left to find my friends Terry and Jeni. As we walking around
Terry and Jeni asked if I wanted to register. I showed them my
badge and of course it was for CES, not AEE 2006. Got that fixed
with Terry and Jeni's help.
5:30 was having dinner with Terry and Jeni, when they got an
invitation for the Digital Playground dinner with Jesse, Janine,
Teagan and others. This dynamic young couple is on their way!
6:30 at the Circle Bar. Damn, talk about Porn Star heaven! I have
heard about this bar, but never visited. Right off the bat
Terry introduced me to some of the fine ADT posters. And, lots
of Porn Stars. Just sitting around and talking to the ADT guys
and watching the gals. Fun to see who was with who and who would
stop and talk to us. Kami Andrews was one of the first to visit
and she sure is a real nice person with a penchant for drawing
the attention. She's great. Bill the Adult DVD Talk moderator
was lucky enough to check out Haley Paige's breast (with her
permission). I finally got to meet Chico Wang. He is a nut! He
had a lot of fun bring over various Porn Stars and 'choking' them.
Everybody had fun with this. (Sure hope it remains this way). Hell,
I even was given permission to check out a gal's nipple and I didn't
even know her name. Bono-ONE was there and he told us about his fun
being on sets and appearing in some BTS footage. More power to
him. I even rubbed elbows with him hoping some of his luck
would rub off on me. Too many people to mention them all.
Christie Lee was there with her cool ChristieLee.com baseball cap.
Teagen was there and left for the DP dinner party and took
Terry and Jeni with her.
8:30 at the Circle Bar. The next 3 hours flew by and I saw so many
Porn Stars (and without taking notes). Highlights:
* Stormy Daniels with Mike Moz and talking about her 40 Year
Old Virgin movie role.
* Lezley Zen with Hall of Famer Director Roy Karch.
* Bobby Rinaldi and his entourage, the Coach, Tyla Wynn,
Keeani Lei and Staci Thorn and the gals's boyfriends.
* Gina Lynn and Travis Knight.
* Jenna Haze and Jules Jordan.
* Hall of Famer John Leslie.
* Francesca Le' and Kristal Summer and Mark Wood (The
luckiest man on the earth).
* Tiffany Rayne and some of her girl friends.
* Steve Orenstein and a sexy brunette.
* Julia Ann and PR gal Heath (hot as hell!).
* Samantha Lewis and Adella & Joone.
* Janine.
* Michelle Lay and Reno Ash.
* Luke Ford.
Then there was Penny Flame! She had been drinking and feeling
real good. She was so funny.
Thursday
9:30 at the AEE 2006 convention. Waiting in line to get in.
Convention opened on time. The first booth I visited was
with Tyla Wynn and the 'Best Chest in the West'. What we
did was that Terry, Jeni and I would talk to the gals and
if the gal was a nominee I would give nomination certificate.
Terry would get a signature and take their picture. Terry
had some DVD boxcovers we wanted signed also. My favorites:
* Lola and Julian signing a poster that said,
'Hi, Pagoda'.
* Kelly Nichols. Finally getting to meet her. A true
Superstar.
* Selena Silver in her hot little cheerleaders outfit.
* Ava Vincent. Taking about her Cat Fight BTS. She
was not too happy that I gave her a certificate
for it. (We never did get to talk to Dillan
Lauren to get her side of the story).
* Brianna Love. She was alot of fun to talk to and
really seemed to enjoy her fans.
* Brandy Talore. She is from Ohio.
* Marquette Jewel. She is also from Ohio.
* Michelle B.
* Juli Ashton. She was just walking around with hubby.
I talked to her and she was very nice.

* Sara Stone.
* Holly Wellin. She is a brunette now.
* Mark Kernes. Sure was nice to see Mark and talk to
Mark this year. Even if he wasn't checking out
Vanity.
* Heidi Joy Pike. Another fun AVN person to talk to.
Damn, gal, you are looking good. Congrats on
your new svelte look.
* Hillary Scott. Looking hot and a very nice gal to
talk to.
* Taryn Thomas. Looking good. She knew that she is
only 1 of 5 ladies to be nominated by
AVN, CAVR and Rog Reviews
ADT Party
The reason I went to Vegas this year. Especially since Steph
and Drew were back. (Even tough Bill get a great job last
year). All the ADT guys were there and it would be a great
party if that is all that showed up. What a knowlegeable
group of guys. But, of course, this is a by an invitation
only party and Porn People did show up. How about:
* Katja Kassin
* Kami Andrews

* Tiana Lynn
* David Aaron Clark
* Brian Surewood
* Jim Gunn
* Rog
The highlight of the evening for me this year was when it
thinned out around midnight and Tim Von Swine answered
every question that was given to him. I got my nominations
list out and he talked about at least 30 gals and gave a
little 'insider' info on each. Worth the price of admission!
He never said a bad word about any of them and he sure
knows the gals. Only a few did he say he never has any
experience with. Tim is the real deal and to be perfectly
frank about it, I just recently became aware of him and
started really check out his work. I had a few private
minutes talk with Tim and let me tell you that he has
had some very rough times in his life with personal
losses that are hard to imagine and he said that Mike John
has been a great friend to him for many years. Left at
1:00 am!
Friday
8:30 at AEE 2006. Waiting in line. Opened on time with no
problems. Did the same thing with Terry and Jeni. The big
thing early on was that they had interview time set up with
Adella at Digital Playground. They got to talk to & photograph
Jesse, Teagan and Janine.
Highlights:
* Rog. Always great to talk to the best reviewer on the
internet. And, man is he busy on the interviews. He
does a great job and I am looking forward to reading
his interviews. He shared with me some of his BTS
antics that I love. More power to Rog, he is the man!
* Lou Sirkin & Jennifer Kinsley. They were at the Hustler
booth and I waited until they left to stop them and
thank them for all they do to defend our first amendent
rights. The Trial
* Mark Kismet and Barry Wood. Sure did love talking to
them.
* Chris Streams. I told him that as I was compiling my
ballot he was not on it. Then I rank my rankings list
and he made his 7th movie and edged out David Luger.
(That is how close the rankings were).
* Mike Quasar. He is a joy to talk to and he will keep
you going on his teasing.
* Greg Alves. Not sure if I had meet him before, but he
is fun to talk to.
* Wendi Knight. YES! I like to tease her about her
'granny bra'. Wendi was looking good!
* Tricia Devereaux. Also looking good. We had a very
nice private conversation and we are still friends.
I love her and will love her for the rest of my life!
* Don Houston. This is my first time to talk to him and I
really enjoyed it. He is covering the event for the
missing Cindi Loftus.
* A.C. Cream. This is my first time to talk to him. He
is a very nice guy and in my opinion very knowledgeable.
We seemed to agree on some things and not agree on
some things. He was at the ADT Party last night.
* Norris Smith. I had not seen him in many years and it
was great to renew old acquaitances. What a great guy!
* Jeff of IAFD. We were both missing our dear friend
Peter Van Aarle. Jeff is one of the nicest person I
know. He has helped me out quitely in the past and
he has agreed to help me out on another project that
we will be working on together. (Poor Jeff, he has
no idea what he is in for. Sure hope he remembers
how to write programs using Basic). Thanks Jeff and
good luck.
* Steph and Drew. What a great couple and always so
kind to me. Thanks for the party and for being such
nice friends.
* Rob Baker. He has been a friend for years and I always
love talking to Rob.
* Michelle Ashton. What an interesting story of how this
hot 35 year old got into the business. Meet John
Stagliano in a niteclub in London, England.
* Sunny Lane. Standing in line to buy a soft drink, I
saw a middle aged gal with a Sunny Lane badge. Turns
out that she is the PR person for Sunny. Nothing
wrong with this, but it shows how much the industry
has changed that a nominee for Newbie of the Year
already has a PR person.
* Avy Scott. One of my all-time favorites. She even
remembered me. I will never forget her.
* Jill Kelly. Hard to miss her with all of her new
tattoos.
* Nikki Loren. She asked me if I wanted her picture and
I said no. She asked me if I wanted her autograph and
I said no. She asked me if I knew her name and I handed
her CAVR nomination certificate that I had been
carrying around for years. She was happy. Hope she
returns.
* Felicia Fox. Looking as great as ever. Dayton should be
and is proud of her.
* Tim Case. Always so kind and nice to me. Even though Tim
and Felicia live very close to me, we only see one
another once a year. (Actually, we did see one another
in the summer time at a local gas station).
* Brandon Iron. We had a very candid talk with Brandon. He
is a real class guy. I sure hope things he told us
doesn't happen.
* Wankus and Tyler Faith. Tyler retold her Ed Powers story.
'I made a movie with Ed, but I did not f..k him!'
* Tina Tyler. A real fun lady to talk with and she is
forever changing her look. But, always looking hot!
* Last good-bye. Every year I try to make sure that I
say good-bye to Dee as the last gal I see. Dee was
not at the show this year, so I picked Tyla Wynn to
be the last this year.
Conclusion:
1> My special thanks to Terry and Jeni for looking out for me
and treating me with such respect and kind consideration.
I think it is great that we have a couple working together
and I sure hope Jeni starts to review a movie now and then.
2> Sure did miss Peter Van Aarle.
RIP.

DVD Notes
7> Jules Jordan. Talked to JJ very briefly at the Circle Bar and
he asked me to visit with him. I visited his booth many times,
but JJ was talking to people like John Stagliano, John Leslie
or Christoph Clark. My apologies to JJ for not getting back to
him.
