It has been reported on many web sites that Lea de Mae has a very
serious brain cancer and is in need of some help.
This saddens me very much because I will never forget meeting Lea
and Danielle Rush (with Frank Thring) at the Golden Nuggett
as they were having breakfest. I recognized Danielle and
Frank and didn't know who the blonde was. I just said hi to
them in the room.
Then, at the Las Vegas convention I saw them in a booth together. I
asked Lea for her name and she told me at least 3-4 times
and I never understood her. Then I got an autograph and I
realized that her name was Lea de Mae and I was expecting
just 2 names.
I have seen her every year since and this past year I actually
spent time talking to her. She is very nice.
Lea needs alot of money for a very special operation.
Bill Margold has suggested that the industry make a movie
titled, 'We Are The Heat' and the money go to help Lea.
That is a great idea and hope it done real soon.
My suggestion is that if there is any money in the
Club Jenna HIV+ fund, some of it go to Lea.
And, whatever happened to the Patrick Collins idea of
25 cents per VHS/DVD be put in a fund for the Stars?
Lea has always given 110% in all of her performances and now it
is time to help her out.
