Since I am not into Comics and did not give a very informed 'review'        
      the first time around, I asked a good friend of mine's who            
      owns a comics book store to review 'The Buttman Comics'.

As a comic dealer/reader of many years I opened this book expecting
   just another smut comic.

Was I ever wrong!
   I found a full-fleshed cornucopia of derriere-lovers delight

   If you like comics and pin-ups or if you perk-up when you hear
   the well-known name of "Buttman," aka John Stagliano, I can
   nearly guarantee you'll love this book.

   The only question I have is, "Can it be done again?"

With most all things, when you have sincere passion for something
   it's easy to create an extremely exciting first installment.

   The trick is not shooting your whole wad [excuse the pun] the
   first time out. Luckily, the "Buttman" name has a proven track
   record for consistant quality. Another promising sign is the
   true knowledge of pin-up/comic art history behind this project.
   The contributors to this magazine seem well informed and are
   passionate about their work which can go a very long way.

   It seems to me the only worry would be running out of material.


Buttman Comics #1 is an impressive collection of artful ass.

The creators pay tribute to their predecessors,
    * Bill Ward
    * Eric Stanton
    * R. Crumb, etc.
There are comic stories and comic strips in this tooter tome,
    ass well as plenty of pooper pin-ups, anal artwork and
    some illustrated chute-related short stories.

    If you're a fan of erotic comics or butts or a fan of
    Buttman's other work you'll love this fanny-tastic volume
    of the virtues of voluptuousness.
