All week long 700 WLW AM radio has been running ads to visit the
new Hustler store and see Ron Jeremy & Felicia Fox.

I normally only visit video stores that rent both adult and regular
tapes. I have not been in an 'adult' bookstore in many many
years. And, they generally are stores you really don't want to
be associated with.
(Except, Bonnett's Bookstore and Video in Dayton)!

So, with this as my background, I decided to visit to see what was
happening.
Turns out the store is very North of Cincinnati and actually only 27
miles from my house.
I arrive early and boy am I shocked!
* The store is 10 times larger than any store like it that I have
ever visited.
* The store is brand new and absolutely top notch. Nice layout
with boutique in front and magazines, videos and DVDs in
back. Very roomy and plenty of space to move around and
shop.
* Lots of items are sexy stuff, but not 'adult'. The store is
probably 40% hardcore items and 60% just sexy stuff.
* Plenty of employees that probably was 75% female. All were
attractive, but actually in a subdued manner with no
blatant sexy or outlandish outfits. In fact the ladies
all wore shirts that said on the front 'Relax' and
on the back 'It is only Sex!'.
* Large number of DVDs and VHS tapes. Pricing:
* $49.95 for approximately 10% of the items.
* $39.95 for approximately 80% of the items.
* $19.95 for approximately 10% of the items.

Fans arrived and a line was set-up. The Hustler personnel were very
nice and talked to the people. I was number 22 in line and by
the time Ron & Felicia joined there was approximately 100
people in line. I was surprised to notice that the crowd seemed
to consist of 25% couples, 5% ladies in groups of 2-3 and lots
of young guys (25 years old or less). There was very few dirty
old men there and I felt kinda out of place.

Ron arrived first with 2 very hot looking ladies who are not in the
business and got quite the looks as they 'shopped' and looked at
all the nice items in the store. From the looks of things, I
sure hope Ron brought his credit cards with him.
Felicia arrived a few minutes later and looking good! Yes, I am from
Dayton and Felicia is from Dayton, but this is only the 4-5th
time I have actually talked to her face-to-face.
They made a brief annoucement that Ron & Felicia would sign anything
you brought with you or you bought in the store free and that
they had a few of Ron's tapes on sale at a discount. You could
talk to them free and basically just have a nice time. No
pressure to buy anything.
But, if you also wanted, you could get a picture taken with Ron or
Felicia for $10.00.
I stood in line for about 10 minutes and then I was talking to the
living legend, Mr. Jeremy. He is very nice and thanked me for
visiting. I never told him my name and I was just there as a fan.
I suggested to him that he get Tera Patrick to join him this
year at Nudes-A-Poppin and he said that was a good idea.

Then, I talked to Felicia and we had a nice talk. She is also
very nice and not a prima donna at all. Then I had a picture
taken and she autographed it and the magazine.

While standing in line I noticed a single woman walking around and she
looked like Elyse of Elyse's Passion. She is the lady that I have
been reading about in the local newspapers and on Gene Ross and
AVN's website. She owns a video store in Cincinnati and is facing
obscenity charges for 3 adult tapes she sold to an undercover cop.
There is going to be a benefit for her in early May and I will
give her a cash donation and help her with promoting it.
It is my understanding that the Free Speech Coalition
has reviewed her situation and decided NOT to help her!
I did not get to meet her as she left just as I was talking to
Felicia. But, I hope to connect up with her shortly and see
what I can do to help out.
