05/16/2001  Court    Started at 10:30am. I missed the showing of the
                       Jeff Stryker tape and the first half of the
                       Gangland #17 tape.

                       Due to schedule conflict, they allowed the
                       Defense Expert Witness to testify out of
                       order.

                     Defense Expert Witness #1.
                       Associate Professor Department of English
                         and Comparative Literature from University
                         of Cincinnati.

                       He gave his extensive background and talked
                         about the 3 movies that he watched and said
                         had merit. He also said he was impressed with
                         her book selection. 

                     Cross Examination of Expert Witness #1.
                       Prosecution asked if he knew who the
                         Director, Producer and Writer for
                         each of the 3 movies. He did not.

                         Prosecution introduced into evidence
                         the Dirty Bob advertisement for the
                         Porn Stars Fund Raiser. Exhibit #7.
                         
                     Re-Direct of Expert Witness #1.
                       Questions about if he had ever meet
                         any of the Authors he studied in the
                         UC classes he teaches. No.

                     Re-Cross of Expert Witness #1.
                       Were these 3 movies a part of his class
                         work. No, but others are.

                     Defense Expert Witness #2.
                       Very reputable with extensive Psychology
                         work and even elected to be a 'Fellow'
                         that only 10% are selected. He reviewed
                         the 3 tapes and found that they have
                         value.

                     Cross of Expert Witness #2.
                       Asked him for the purpose of these tapes
                         and his answer was education, free
                         speech and $
                         He also brought up the 200,000 adult
                         internet sites.

                     Finished rest of Gangland #17 and then the
                       Prosecution rested with no Expert Witnesses.


                    1:00 Broke for lunch.

                    2:30 Defense called Elyse Metcalf and she did
                      a very good job. Talked about her background
                      and opening her store in late 1999. Talked
                      about how she got the store name, 'I own
                      it and it is my Passion!'

                      She talked about buying her tapes from GVA
                        (General Video of America) and her
                        knowledge of AVN. She presented herself
                        well and knew the answers to the question
                        of the producer, director and company of
                        the 3 movies.

                    3:00 Judge dismissed jury and closing statements
                       will be at 11:30am Thursday.
