Elyse and her 6 year old niece was hurt very badly. ============================================================================ Mon 03/18 Visit at 12:30pm Elyse was released Monday morning! Great news!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thu 03/14 Visit at 6:00pm She was sitting at the side of the bed and has made a great improvement. Eating solid food. Eyes wide open. Able to talk. What great news! We had a real nice 10 minute chat and she is being told that if all goes well she will be released on Monday! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sat 03/09 Visit at 2:00pm She was wide awake and her boyfriend visiting. Still had to wear a gown and gloves She was able to breathe on her own and she looked so much better than 2 weeks ago. I only stayed 5 or 6 minutes. Her boyfriend has been very supportive. Nurse said she is doing as good as expected. Her niece went home on Thursday. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sat 02/23 Visit at 4:30pm She was sleeping and things appeared to be worse. She is on a ventilator. I had to wear a gown and gloves and mask before entering her room. I only stayed 1 or 2 minutes and went to the nurses area. Nurse said she is doing as good as expected. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sat 02/16 Visit at 3:15pm She is sitting up now and I was able to hold her fingertips from her bandaged hand and to speak to her. She was did not open her eyes and struggled to talk. I told her that we were all pulling for her and gave her 2 special messages: * Mike South & Cori Love were on WLW radio and they sent their love over the airways. * Goddess sent her love and hope for a quick and speedy recovery. Nurse said she is doing as good as expected. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wed 02/13 Visit at 2:00pm Only stayed 5 minutes. Very bad. Did not talk with her. Nurse suggested that I wait until Sat (02/16) for next visit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tue 02/12 Called and talked to unit nurse. No phone calls, but would give Elyse a message. Told her that we all loved her and was pulling for her. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mon 02/11 Called and talked to unit nurse. No visitors and no flowers. ============================================================================
